Although our patient is 60 years old , due to postmenopausal status , she has an increased risk of such disease . The overall survival of such disease is about 30 for 5 years . Whatever may be the cause , the patient had a growing mass of tissue within the abdomen that led to a pelvic space occupying lesion with attendant mass effect that caused her symptoms .
