BBC to do some legitimate soul-searching and hopefully improve itself . As it stands now , the only way for the BBC to soul-search is through the blunt , hard instrument of public inquiries , just like the Hutton Inquiry . And even now , after being publically shamed , the BBC is unwilling to examine itself , its biases , its management quality , because it has no practice in real soul-searching . There is one other caveat that must be added : the more government involves itself in public speech...
