written communication
Learning business communication is never easy . You can 't just use any word to be effective in communicating . I now deeply understand how to express myself and approach in a better and more effective way on my colleagues Being in college is full of pressure . Dealing with different people each day is a typical scenario in college life . The fact is that you can 't avoid conflicts and arguments while interacting with them . Before you act as if you know better than that person it is very important to know who you

are talking to
I get to see people with different ages , status , educational level and culture . If it is in my age bracket I could go on to talking to that person with ease using my common language . Knowing a person 's age could give me much information in how to deal with him . I will be able to find out his preferences and characteristics . With this information I can formulate ways in getting his attention which makes it easier to convince him
But if I talk to my professor I should be able to adjust and try to communicate more professionally unlike talking to my peers . Status and educational level can also be a great consideration before communicating . Professionals and people in the higher status of society obviously require a different level of information . They tend to know more about things most especially about business compared with those in the lower class . This means that I can never use the same way to communicate with those in the lower class
Another factor is culture . Cultural diversities is present in any field and in any country , whether it may be at school , work , or in a neighborhood . Knowing a person 's culture gives me an idea on how to get along with him . I can then choose the words or ways that could be more understandable in line with his culture
Applying the new knowledge I have gained makes me more effective and helps me in dealing with anyone . I made new friends and become more successful in getting what I want . Eventually these techniques will help land a great career in the future
Communicating is not just as simple as delivering a speech . It is a two-way conversation . There are factors such as age , status , education level and cultural diversities should always be considered before you go into conversing...
