Uncle Venky

Uncle Venky was the most kind-hearted bookkeeper in town . He was rather a tall man with gentle disposition . Many people fondly recall his eagerness to help those in dire straits . His wisdom guided his friends in leading mature and meaningful lives . His strong belief in life as a whole served as a source of comfort and strength to those around him

Uncle Venky was known for his benevolent nature . One day , he was returning from work . He noticed a man lying

on the road . He had fainted due to heat . Immediately , Venky took him to the hospital . He paid the medical bill too

Venky 's idea of sharing what he had was known when he let poor people watch television in his house . As his house was the first place to have a television set , people flocked to see it out of curiosity . When his friends went on vacations , they would park their vehicles in his house He did not charge them at any point in time

Even when the neighbor 's son broke his fence while learning to drive Venky did not yell at him . There was a time when the news boy needed money to pay the school fees . Venky volunteered to help the lad Venky 's deep understanding of people earned him friends wherever he went . Bequeathing a part of his property to the orphanage shows his sense of commitment to the society
