It is true that transnational organized crime has been a serious problem since the early years of the 20th Century . It is sad however that it has only been recently recognized and considered a threat and that actions to stop it have only recently began . One reason for this is the complex nature of this crime . Unlike other crimes which can easily be defined , there is no model for this crime that can help law enforcement
