It can stated that there are some positive ways by which one can quantify the subjective judgments made by an interviewer when meeting a candidate face to face . However , there are conditions applied to the situation and once these conditions are properly satisfied only then it is permissible under ethical considerations

to illustrate one such situation . Suppose an interviewer is interviewing an economist over a recent , such as the latest issues on credit crunch . Here the interviewer can incorporate subjective judgments about the interviewed only if the interviewed , in this case the economist , is a well acquainted person of the interviewer or if the two people are personally or professionally close enough to be judgmental about one another (Fletcher , 2005

There is another situation where an interviewer can be judgmental about the interviewed on a face-to-face situation . This is when the two persons are from the same profession i .e . economists in this case (Kar 2006 ) Under such condition , the one interviewing is associated with the other in terms of knowledge or expertise . Therefore , it is permissible to pass subjective judgments about the interviewed even without the permission of the interviewed as they are well aligned in terms of knowledge .
