What are the various patterns of ethnic interaction? In your answer, include examples of each pattern.
What are the various patterns of ethnic interaction Primarily because of the continuous pursuance of globalization in the entire world , the existence of communities that are bound within the dilemma of dealing with highly multicultural associations already became a social norm . This is particularly the reason why sociologists were able to trace the pattern of ethnic interactions that are happening between people living within a community that is populated by people from different races The following patterns of interaction are only a few of which the society tries to remain to

the traditions of their original races
Direct Social Isolation
More and more immigrants from smaller cities towards the larger cities experience the hardships of coping up with the life in the urbanized areas of the society . Hence , to be able to save themselves from the pressures of the new society , they tend to isolate themselves . Hence the traditions that they have been originally applying need not be changed so much . The limited connection with other people in the society helps them isolate the traditions that they already got used to
EX : Chinese nationals are usually isolated within a community that they establish within a certain country . Hence , although they deal with others , their traditions remain solid
Networking Interaction
The socialists usually think that by directly dealing with others in the society would help them endorse their culture to others . Most likely , the situation is more direct that makes the connection more intense with others . Friendships are made and the familiarity with each other 's cultures becomes possible
EX : Filipinos are used to dealing with other people of other races directly . At times , because of the connection that they make the culture that they have are transferred to the ones they usually deal with and it happens the same thing , the other way around
Certainly , from these patterns , it could be noted that the socialization procedures of individuals depend so much in their original upbringing especially when it comes to dealing with other individuals
