This paper explores a therapeutic model which aims at healing clients that have experienced emotional abuse from past relationships . The treatment process involves a model where clients work with

a therapist in an environment of love and friendship which guides their emotional wellbeing . The treatment program helps clients appreciate the five cycles of emotional abuse and the manner in which they have been affected through each of the cycles (Gehart , 2010 .
