Superior military might is proving ineffectual in the war on terror and for many it is time a new strategy was adopted to turn around the tides of unrelenting attacks by terrorist organizations . The fact that Obama is prepared to talk to the enemy in a bid to defuse tension and promote world peace could be the reason that moderates would favor Obama if there was a renewal of terrorist activity

Another factor working against the McCain campaign is the fact that electing him would be a continuation of Bush policies that have become so unpopular . Should terrorists attack , it would be a stark reminder of what the republican foreign policies have done for America in the last eight years exposing the citizenry to increased attacks from fundamentalists , military adventurism...
