Knowing the Messiah

The video which was divided in twelve main parts discussed the basic known facts about the life of Jesus Christ from the time he was conceived by Virgin Mary up to His resurrection . Everything in the video was based from the gospels written by Matthew , Mark , Luke and John as written in the book of the New Testament . The Annunciation which was the first part talked about how the angel appeared to Mary and told her that she will be the mother of the only son of God . Jesus was

born in a humble state as what one of the interviewees said . As Jesus was growing up , He dedicated his time to the temple learning under the tutelage of the rabbis . The video also showed how Satan tempted Jesus in different ways and how Jesus had cleverly cast off the devil . Also , the fully divine and fully human nature of our Savior was discussed by the pastors . Many of the miracles performed by Jesus like turning water into wine which happened in the wedding in Cana and the multiplication of loaves and fishes were also showed . The parables which teach us about God 's grace and love were mentioned in passing . Toward the end , the agony of Jesus Christ which started when He was sentenced by the people to be crucified was thoroughly explained . The transfiguration of Jesus up to the time he appeared to the people after his resurrection was also discussed . The video ended with a very solemn recitation of the Our Father

The video was created meticulously judging from the pastors who were interviewed . Also , all of the places where the host delivered important parts of the video are the real places where Jesus had truly left His mark in this world . I believe that the most important lesson that I got from the video came from one of the pastor who was interviewed in the video . He said that we must not wait for the coming of Jesus Christ for no one knows when will it happen , what matters is what we do while we are waiting for His arrival . It can be inferred from his statement that we must live our lives the way Jesus had lived as a human being . We must be close to God the Father and do good deeds for the benefit of the people around us . God has taught us to show love unconditionally for He has given the life of His only begotten son for the sake of the humanity
