At first it was based on cog-wheel , then on vacuum tubes . And only after centuries of work and technology advancement computers obtained another important application except calculation- to be human assistant in intellectual activity

Nowadays personal computers (PC ) are almost everywhere in every realm of business and scientific research . Every family now has an opportunity of enjoying beautiful graphics , multitasking applications and networking features . What we consider to be computers today is a gigahertz system that is far ahead from the PCs of two decades ago .
