The activity on writing an external proposal is of equal importance . I was given the opportunity to belabor the idea of putting forward a problem and identifying and consequently providing the possible solution . I learned the systematic approach in writing a proposal and at the same time avoiding the troubles of writing one that is deprived of

scheme . The task of writing the specific parts of the proposal enabled me to carefully pinpoint the most relevant information while simultaneously removing details that are of no consequence to the proposal . Above all , I learned the practice of writing a proposal can not be mastered easily , which is why there is the underlying imperative to continue practicing even when we are not assigned to write one . It goes without saying that an eye for detail and an instinct for retrospection can further be sharpened through a diligent approach to writing proposals even in simple writing exercises . Apparently , the activity also provides me with the opportunity to assess my current capabilities in writing proposals and placing it in the context of my future work in technical writing . While there remains a need for me to master the art ' of writing proposals , there also remains the bigger prospect of making the most of what I have learned so far especially in terms of meeting academic requirements . In the greater task that rests ahead , my progress in this activity will certainly be a huge factor in determining whether or not I will eventually be able to come-up with meritorious proposals
