Methods

After selecting the required databases on ProQuest , I used the following three search terms in the advanced search interface : servant , leader education . Restricting the results for scholarly journals provided several articles relevant to my research subject

From the list of results , I selected the article by J . M . Hays that appears on my reference list . Clicking on the author link did not provide any further relevant sources as Hays ' primary field of research is business organization

I re-did the same keyword search and selected the

article by Sussan et al that appears on my reference list . Clicking on the author link for Sussan did not provide any further relevant sources as his primary research focus is competitiveness in industry . The author links for the other two authors of this study similarly did not yield relevant results

I executed the same keyword search and selected the article by Polleys that I had summarized for the last assignment . As this article was highly relevant to my research , I wanted to see what else the author had written about . I found her dissertation on self-regulated learning , a subject that is not relevant to my own research

I decided to alter my keywords in to provide a different set of results . For the next three keywords , I used servant , leader , and college . In changing the last keyword , I was hoping to restrict the results to institutions of higher education , some of which might not have been indexed with...
