More research has pointed to a need for explaining the physiological aspects of such behavior and simple psychology or sociology is not sufficient in creating a proper mode of preventative treatment . The rise of the integration of different styles of research on serial killing is conducive to the growing need to prevent this behavior at early stages . If anything , there is a necessity to provide a scientific backbone for analyzing serial killers and the physiological differentiation from normal human beings

Purpose

This study will seek to explore and document the prevalence serial killer behavior . A history of violence , in general , is assumed and evident in many settings for serial killing . However , past research is outdated or non-exclusive to the recent manifestations of violent behavior due to neurological or biological elements . The study will show new and blended behavior patterns of serial killers and explore why future research should focus on isolating biological and neurological ailments or discrepancies in serial killing prevention
