We take this opportunity today to remember our dear countrymen who were victims of the September 11 bombing . With mournful hearts and prayerful spirit , we look back at one of the saddest events in the history of America . Remembering the 9 /11 victims in this way may not be enough to honor the great lives we lost . The efforts we made to gather together are definitely not commensurate to the

contribution each victim gave our society , but this is the only way we could assuage the grief of their loved ones , and fill in the void in the lives of those who were left behind . Allow me now to spend time on this special occasion to honor once again the 9 /11 victims , the nearly three thousand men and women who formed part of our history , not because of their death , but because of the legacy they left to our family and society

The people we lost in the 9 /11 bombing were not only individual citizens . They were part of our civilization , culture , and progress . We owe to them a lot of things , both material and immaterial . Each of them played different roles in our lives as citizens of this country . In the family , the men served either as fathers or sons , the women as mothers or daughters . As fathers , these guys dreamed big for their children They worked hard...
