1 . Self-directed learning - The learner is the one

initiating his own learning . He develops his learning strategy and decides what training and development experiences will be most beneficial to him

2 . Continuous learning - This doesn 't mean merely taking up classroom classes one after the other . It 's about being able to develop skills that will enable a person to learn how to learn so that his life in general becomes his own learning lab

3 . Intelligence - The term used by psychologists to describe the property of the mind that covers the abilities to reason , plan , think abstractly , solve problems , understand ideas , use language , and of course , to learn

4 . Impulsivity - A characteristic of an individual to act based on his impulses rather than reason or thought

5 . Metacognition - This is defined as knowing about knowing . It refers to one 's knowledge on his use of particular strategies for problem solving
