Volume and area

The units if volume and area are not identical because the numbers of dimension that are used in each of the cases are not equal . Area is the calculation of the overall surface distance while the volume tries to calculate the of the area are in two dimensions thus represented by this fact whether they are calculated in millimeters , centimeters , and meters , kilometers or even miles or feet . For example , the units of an area given dimensions in meters are in m2 . The units of the corresponding volume in

Graphing proportions

The quantities measured in the lab that were directly proportional were the number of swings that the pendulum made against the time it took to make those swings . From the graphical representations it was evident the time taken for a specific number of swings was directly proportional to the number of swings counted
