This is because the government has been unable to deal with the drug trafficking syndicate with some of the well connected drug peddlers going on with their business as usual while school administrators are forced by the government to intimidate students . Comparing the whole student population in the United States , it is evident how the industry can fund million of studies that produce results which are biased towards supporting random drug testing . In either way , it is evident that random drug testing does not entirely deal with the larger problem of drug abuse among youths (Grim , 2006 . Instead of exposing student to such emotional stress , the government should direct funds to deal with the main actors in drug peddling syndicate to ensure that students do not have access to drugs . This will be the most effective strategy in reducing drug abuse among students
