Running head : CAUSE OF POVERTY The Cause of Poverty [Author Name] [University] [Professor] [Course] Abstract Poverty is not simply due to scarce resources . It is more of a direct consequence of the poor being unable to have access to networks of productivity . Thus , if there is an all encompassing solution to poverty it would be the exposure of the poor to dynamic environments that would enable them to be involved in the development of their own lives . One of the most effective and realistic answers to this predicament

are enterprise based solutions . Yet , these has been done millions of times but there are still flaws that prevent it from making great progress in ultimately turning poverty a thing of the past
The Cause of Poverty
Half of the six billion people in the world experiences poverty . One out of two children in this earth is subjected to poor nourishment and has meager access to the basic necessities . For generations past it has existed and it seems that it is becoming more prevalent than before Around the world catastrophes and disasters contributed more to its ever-growing strength . Changes in our environment and misuse of our natural resources contribute to the shortages that contribute largely to scarcity in numerous parts of the globe especially in the developing countries . It isn 't as if nothing is being done . There are millions of nongovernment organizations (NGO 's ) who have been advocating against it for the whole of their existence . Somehow , there is still enough poverty for everyone
Majority of NGO 's all over the world concentrated on providing for the basic needs of the poor such as food , clothing and shelter especially to victims of calamities through collecting funds . There are also campaigns lead by the developed countries and individual philanthropists . Some of these nongovernmental organizations are involved in providing the poor with opportunities to start their own living by giving loans with minimal or no interests
Yet this charitable institutions advocating for the needs of the poor only provides only short term solutions because help coming from these organizations can be exhausted easily and they rarely come in a regular basis . Aside from that , not everyone benefits from the help given to them by NGO 's . Some of the goods to be delivered are pilfered by the handlers before they reach their supposed destinations . There is also the problem of miscommunication because what is really needed these people are not known by the givers . These countries that usually needed help the most have corrupt governments that deprive them of these goodwill supplies
Another factor that contributes to the prevalence of poverty is globalization . It has caused larger gaps between the wealthy and the underprivileged . This may have been caused by new policies that are more to the benefit of the powerful countries than for the inferior ones Thus it inhibits any form of growth that would have been possible for the developing countries
Such restrictions affect the overall status of a developing country...
