The role of the people
Name University Course Tutor Date : the role of people and need for clothing Introduction Clothing is the art of putting , on a covering in the human body . This is mostly done to cover the human nudity (Cook 1997 The art of clothing is embraced differently by different communities people , countries and religions social settings . They have different kinds of dress codes that originated from a source and must be adhered to (Kam , 2000 The clothing systems and styles embrace different social , economical religious and class background , this

is clearly demonstrated by Kam when he referred to the creation story in the bible . Even from this theory clothing (lamb skin ) that God used symbolizes some form of purity and life after death
In this novel it is indicated that Iran and Taliban clothing is given a religious outlook and perception . People clothe themselves to give credit to Allah- the God of all creations . In the essence of covering the body Cook considers it as assign of fear . The fear of what might happen if they expose their nudity to the world . The fear of the perception they might show to the world
The main reasons indicated for clothing in Iraq is that , Muslims and the whole world consider the body a very special place , the temple of Allah which should never be exposed anyhow . Therefore it needs to be very well covered . The covering of the body is for the protection of the temple from harm and bad weather . It is also because there is need to prevent any upset and offences that might be caused to others (Cook 1997 . These upsets may lead others to serious offences as fornications it is therefore very much necessary for people to cloth themselves
Cook further clarifies that , in clothing people dress to make up their body , this is done to increase the decency therefore presentable . As it is a common say that clothes makes a man . Being presentable also allows others to be recognized in relation to their careers , professions and religions , and therefore in Iraq and Taliban it is as a religious Taboo (Cook , 1997
In this country clothing styles are there so as never create any clear cuts (class differences ) between the rich and the poor . It indicates that everybody is a creation of Allah and before him all are equal . This therefore explains clearly the uniformity in their clothing styles (Cook 1997
As Cook further puts it the greatest reason for covering the body in the two governments is because of religion , class and fear of being nude
