Having evolved from a deeply divided past the notion of having economies and even ideologies that transcend borders and cultures was unheard of . But not anymore , we have moved from a globe full of villages to what is now known as

a global village . In the past , many attempts had been made towards achieving a united globe but all of them failed in one way or another . The will and efforts to unify the world through spiritual revivals such as Christianity and the totalitarian violence of such ideologies as Marxism-Leninism all bore no fruit . But a new perspective of the world that seems to defy these past trends is what is now referred to as the global civil society .
