On the basis of this view of health , if we enhanced our health we will live longer and have fewer health problems than the average person and feel better than an unhealthy person To promote health of a person or a group , health professionals use a number of strategies . Health screening (such as blood pressure

or cholesterol measurements , health education activities (such as first aid , human immunodeficiency virus (HIV ) education , or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR ) training , behavior change strategies (such as the use of specific eating plans or exercise programs , and health maintenance activities (such as the use of regular medical checkups ) are examples of approaches used to keep people healthy and alive for many years
Although these strategies are admirable , this interpretation presents health as an end in itself rather than a means to an end . Living a long time , not being sick , and doing only healthful things are important but will assure you of growing and developing to your fullest potential
If we like to promote health within ourselves we should be able to function at an enhance level of emotional well being . This level of higher emotional health is often achieved by improving certain skills and abilities , including improving verbal and non verbal communication learning to use humor effectively , developing better conflict resolution skills , and taking , a proactive approach to life

Frequency of training refers to the number of times per week a person should exercise , the exercises that we do should fit our daily lifestyle , in doing this we should incorporate music into your activity Avoid a complicated exercise program , keep it simple

Sleep is so vital to health that people who are unable to sleep sufficiently those with insomnia or who are deprived of sleep experience deteriorating , in every dimension of their health . Aside from eating balance diets we should also take in to our body vitamins which are organic compounds that are required in small amounts for normal growth , reproduction , and maintenance to health . Vitamins differ differ from carbohydrates , fats , and proteins in that they do not provide calories or serve as structural elements by our bodies . Vitamins are coenzymes , by facilitating the action of enzymes , vitamins help initiate a wide variety of body responses , including energy production use of minerals , and growth of health tissue
