Abstract

This dissertation aims to discuss , study , give proof and data about the product innovation and its application in UK industry . Product Innovation is the growing strategic management for some modern and big companies around the world . It is now the stepping ladder for innovative and a high technology business image in the world market . Given some data collected and a personal primary data survey which I have conducted with an executive of one company in UK , this analyze the different areas regarding product innovation in UK

I . Introduction

Product innovation is the development strategies of new products changes in design of established products , or use of new materials or components in manufacture of established products (Hartley , 1984 , pp 3-4 . This term means different things to different people . Some people tend to think in terms of new products which are the first of its kind in some large market or retail establishment . In natural circumstances very few small retailers achieve innovation of that degree . There are such radical innovations also which are not necessarily more important than the steady , incremental improvements to existing ranges of products , which many firms take part in . There is always something new for the change maker and for innovation . Innovators are the one who is doing innovation to a certain product or retail business . Usually , we always think that innovators are working independently , but innovators are also working from some large organizational business in the industry (Hartley , 1984 , pp . 3-4 . Some...
