However , in comparison Berkeley having a Mediterranean climate has its precipitation on the decrease , this consequently result in a decrease in the surplus since the potential evapotranspiration is on the increase . Terre Haute on the other hand has a non-factual precipitation during this period . Due to the very low temperatures , plants have gone into a dormant mode which results into a zero potential evapotranspiration in the first two months and thus all the precipitation generates...
