The Commonwealth Party

The Commonwealth Party stands for the achievement of the commonwealth or the common good . In the pursuit of supreme justice in the land , the only way that can eradicate dis and disputes is through the promotion of equality and commonality among the citizens of the land

The party 's goal is to eliminate the cause of all forms of injustices that deteriorate the very idea of society , as well as

of state . The party espouses the realization and actualization of justice through radical reforms that is directed towards wealth and property distribution among all people . All properties would be held common to all so as to remove the distinction of classes which marginalizes the lower class citizens . By abolishing the privilege of owning properties citizens would not be exposed and motivated to do unjust actions towards each other . All would have equal opportunity to use and enjoy communal properties so there is no reason to pursue selfish interest just to have access on such properties (Plato , 1951

In addition , the party 's goal of redistribution of properties would give equal opportunities to all people to live the way they want without being harassed by the rich people . If all things are available to all people would not be greedy of money , wealth , and luxury because others could still have access on such gains

In terms of employment , justice would still rule . It is for the reason that a person 's work depends on his skills and abilities . A person who is skilled in farming would be tasked to farm . A person who is skilled in building houses would be tasked to construct more houses and buildings . And those whose craft is directed towards public service would be tasked to serve in government . By doing so , all citizens would function in the society . Their skills and capabilities would not be neglected and spoiled . There would be an in-depth skills development and specialization in work (Plato , 1951

In terms of government , graft and corruption would be eliminated chiefly because those who will serve in government would not be driven by their self-interest to gain properties since property is common to all . And because everyone 's work and role in the land is determined through each person 's skills and abilities , only those persons who fit to rule and knows the craft of governing a state would be permitted to serve in the government and rule the land (Plato , 1951 . Furthermore democratic form of government would be banished from the land . It is for the reason that if everyone has the right to decide on the way the government should run the state , then the state would be in great dis since every person has his own opinion about it driven by his own interests (Plato , 1951 . Thus , the party is advocating an authoritarian way of government
