Pesticides are the chemical substances which people use for struggle against harmful organisms . The majority of pesticides are the poisons , wich are oriented at the certain groups of organisms . The problem of pesticides is rather serious ecological problem for humanity , as it is connected not only with strategy of development of an agriculture , but also with public health services , protection of animals and flora , life-support of biosphere in general . Now in biosphere there are more than 50 thousand chemical substances alien

to it - ksenobiotics . Hundred years ago the basic food preservatives were salt and ice . Today almost any product contains mostly of artificial ingredients , then natural indeed . Plenty of food products has above an admissible level of pesticides (Healy Rosenberg , 1979

Pesticides are mutagen substances which are collecting in our body and are 'delayed-action bomb for people . They cause complications of pregnancy . Pulmonary and intestinal diseases , psychological diseases become more frequent . They influence the central nervous system of the person negatively . They cause the distribution of viruses , kill natural enemies of wreckers , reduce quality of products (Healy Rosenberg 1979

For many years of use these chemicals have accumulated in ground . They are in plants , sources of water and , as a consequence - in fish . The cattle eats the poisoned plants and besides receives injections of hormones of growth and antibiotics . We risk to receive serious dozes of pesticides daily . Each day about 3000 people are poisoned by pesticides all over the world . However only in 2005 countries of the EU people have started to try to enter uniform standards in an estimation of danger of the chemical substances getting in food products , and uniform marks of them (Healy Rosenberg , 1979

Now , making the conclusions from all aforesaid , I approve that we should leave from pesticides , and find alternative ways of the decision of this problem
