managing the global workforce. challenges and strategies
Globalization Strategies : An Overview Services required by the customers nowadays are services that are quicker , greater , and of course , cheaper . Because of these stringent requirements , most companies have resorted to globalizing their workforce . Educated and talented individuals found globally , who offer cheaper labor cost , are able to produce high quality results and fast delivery . This fact helps companies expand and at the same time enhance their lines of business . Workforce globalization does have a lot of advantage , but there are of course challenges to look into . An Awareness Building Assignment is a globalization strategy that aims to broaden the outlook of the assigned employee culturally , also to expose the employee to organizational diversity . This strategy can be considered a fruitful experience between the company and its outsourced workforce . Here both parties can learn from each other for the improvement of products and services . Awareness Building assignments are tests to determine whether the specific employee would be able to see beyond cultural differences
be able to add value to any part of the organization , and most importantly , be able to perform efficiently in a global organization
