Managing change in an organization can be successfully achieved if an organization has a clear picture of what exactly the change entails . In addition , effective change management requires proper planning and involvement of all these affected by the change . Their involvement is imperative because it yields greater commitment on their part as compared to if the changes were imposed on them . Tastic Bakeries has sustained losses for the last six months and as such , owners of the bakers sold it off . Following the change in ownership , there are plans to implement some changes . These include relocation of the premises , new brand name , expansion , change organizational culture , recruit new staff , increase and diversify production

Relocation of the Premises

Tastic Bakery intends to move its location to a more spacious premise and in a prime location . This task should take two weeks to change base and another one week to make final touches on the wiring of ovens and lightly . Tastic bakers have contracted a local firm to carry out the transportation of equipment from the old premises to the new office This will cost the bakery 100 dollars . The renting cost is 1000 dollars deposit and 80 dollars monthly rent . The bakery has also hired two electricians to wire the premises and this is expected to cost them another 90 for labour . This project will also include the efforts of the employees in terms of arranging equipments and materials balancing the books and cleaning up . This task involves a lot of input in terms of cash and would rate at 9 on the scale . On a scale of 1 to 10 , the project will rate above seven point if all the equipment is moved to the new office .moving to a new office should improve the speed of service delivery to all customers . If there is any improvement in efficiency , it would rate above 5 on the scale

Expansion

Tastic Bakeries plans to open branches in New York , Los Angeles and Florida . The time scale is twelve months from September to October next year the operation will cost approximately 150 ,000 to a hire a contractor 440 ,000 putting up the building and an additional 123 ,000 to buy equipments and ovens for all three branches . This task involves a lot of input in financial terms and it is compulsory that it be completed as planned . The project would rate at 10 on its completion Any scale less than 10 suggest that the company will have wasted money Concerning the visibility of the project , the new branches have to be built and this would rate at 9 upon completion . The company will view the project meaningful if the new offices enable them to get more profits

New Brand name
