Liberalism and International Cooperation : NAFTA Opposed by campaigners Movements

The North American Trade Association provides benefits for The United States , Canada and Mexico and shows International Cooperation among these countries providing an easier flow of capital among nations HYPERLINK "http /en .wikipedia .org /wiki /NAFTA http /en .wikipedia .org /wiki /NAFTA ) NAFTA places barriers on taxes of foreign goods . This is opposed by two campaigning movements including The Global Justice Movement and the Labor Movement

The Global Justice movement believes that

NAFTA is waiving our political authority ' by placing barriers on tariffs . Additionally they believe that this violates our labor rights as a country and is devastating to our environment

The beliefs of the Labor Movement are similar in the fact that they represent the working class . In their interests for a better economy through better treatment for political governments , they strive to implement laws pertaining to labor . In doing so , they feel their intensions mediate relationships in trade unions . The Labor Movement is concerned with wage earners ' believing that tariffs benefit our country and believe waiving this creates a financial loss for industries

I feel that NAFTA provides security for the United States , Canada and Mexico . This is an example of an act of Liberalism from the United States which also serves as International Cooperation . In addition to providing security in goods , and availability , NAFTA opens the door to forming relations with other countries . While The Global Justice movement is concerned with political authority , I feel that they are not looking at the big picture . Cooperating with other countries to gain benefits through trade creates a supply of goods , which ultimately leads to providing jobs for workers . In the end this process would cooperate with the intensions of both the Labor Movement and The Global Justice Movement
