learning styles
Post your thoughts to the following question : What was your result on Kolb`s learning style inventory After completing the Kolb Learning Style Inventory I found that my highest scores where in the concrete experience and reflective observation , this meant that I prefer to work with concrete examples situations that really are about the or the skill that has to be learned . I found this to be true because I would rather want to try out a new dish to learn it than just reading it in a cookbook . I can also actually

assemble a gadget and make it work by working on it , I get confused when I have to look at the manual and follow it . Moreover , the instrument showed that I was more inclined to reflective observation This shows that I am more of an applications person I can learn the concepts and apply it to a variety of situations . Somehow , I don 't see myself in this category a hundred percent , but maybe that I have the predisposition for this learning style and through the years have been nurturing that through the courses I have taken and my personal desire for learning . But I noticed that I do like working with something that I can translate into real life problems and situations , I like learning about the development of intelligence in children as I can make use of it in the future and also I can observe children to find out if the concepts where indeed true . Being a concrete experience and reflective observation earner , I am categorized as a diverger , Kolb described this learner as one who can generate ideas , imaginative and creative and excel in the arts and humanities , interested in people and emotions .
