leader ? Is it necessary for educators to have leadership skills ? These are the questions that I have been trying to answer as I formulate my own philosophy of leadership in education . Regardless of the task involve in any situation , the leader and the educator are servants in their organizations . They have the passion , courage and perseverance to set and meet their goals while maintaining a high degree of objectivity responsibility and commitment in their undertakings . They are agents of change who are competitive , prepared and responsive to the challenges that could create an impact on the success of the organization in particular and to the society in general
My philosophy of leadership in education encompasses the definition of a leader or an educator . Neither will it be reflective of its functions or duties in their group or workplace . As I have observed the role of a leader and the teacher , I believe that the leadership skill is present in every educator . Likewise , a leader becomes a facilitator of learning when one could emerge as a planner and a great influence to the positive growth of every member in the team , to the organization and to the society . Hence , my philosophy of leadership in the education field is one that is guided by the conscientious effort of being an agent of change for a better future , a source of inspiration and a facilitator of learning for the growth of every student while maintaining a clear vision , adhering to its mission and developing an impartial relationship that would lead to the growth of the community and country...
