One of the goals of the group is problem solving . It aims to provide the best decision given a list by seeking legal guidance and in accordance to the law . There are various communities that have different problems and the group seeks to solve them simultaneously . This gives the group the power to be relied on . This involves collection of information about the problem , writing to the authorities about the problem and how it intends to solve it and also asking for help from them . It also provides the community with the progress reports hence ensures that the community is communicated to . The execution of the decision comes when the authorities respond positively . There are also other groups of people that are involved apart from the authorities and they include the private sector and the non-governmental organization who are mainly concerned in funding of the projects (Cook , 27
Another objective of the group is motivation . Motivation is the process of influencing a person to achieve a particular goal . This is mainly done to alcoholics and drug addicts and to even criminals in to help them reform . This is done mainly by organizing counseling programs in and out of the university . The group targets people living in the streets and those who are in prison . There are some factors that affect motivation and they include : differences in an individual characteristics of that person and the practices that an individual is used to . Motivation is important in achievement of goals set by an individual . It also defines the characteristic of a person and people are confident in expressing themselves fully
Accountability is also another factor that the group is all about . The group is accountable for all its actions and this is done by quarterly reports and releasing of the publications . This is to create awareness about the group and also to raise funds for the group . The group encourages questions by the public and also criticism from them .
