the issue immediately . There are many cases of Juvenile Delinquency that wanted to be settled by means of Corporal Punishment or Death Penalty . It is a growing issue in the justice system since there are organizations who wanted to oppose the said procedure . It is a really complicated issue since there are countries around the world that accepted Death Penalty for Juvenile Offenders . On the other hand there are people and organizations who oppose Death Penalty . The foundation of Amnesty International suggests that there is no need for such policy to take effect since young offenders are still capable for regaining themselves for what they did The said organization does not only fight for the right to live of young offenders but all criminals who are plead guilty of their crimes . The said organization wanted for human rights everywhere . There are appeals made to counter death penalty and shift on other ways to solve the problem in the Juvenile Justice System . There are also supporting and opposing arguments about the imposition of death penalty in the juvenile justice system
Juvenile Delinquency
The term juvenile delinquency is known legally as the behavior of adolescents who committed crimes and has been judged under the criminal law (Juvenile , 2007 . During the stage of adolescence , individual whose age falls from 12-21 are more prone of committing unwanted behavior These are caused by the environment and the people they interact with There are violations made that goes against social norms and legal policies . There are common cases of Juvenile Delinquency which involves theft . robbery , rape and group related crimes . This stage of life makes individual to find their sense of belongingness which often misleads them to be involved in illegal group activities . Such curiosity of doing and exploring new things often lead them to doing prohibited activities under the law . Juvenile offenders had committed crime because of aggressive behavior and impulsiveness . Not thinking of the consequences makes them do such things that should be addressed properly by the juvenile justice system because they can carry over the said behavior until adulthood . It is of great importance to develop a system that will put an end and give lessons to juvenile offender for their delinquent behavior
