The word justice has been given different meanings by different people and depending on the society the definers are from . This essay defines the word justice as fairness . Examples of situations where justice has been exercised have been given to put more emphasis on what the word justice really means

Definition of justice

Justice can be defined as fairness . It is the ability to treat all people fairly and appropriately , without considering either their

social status , the positions they hold in the society of their background among other differences . On the other hand , fairness is treating people justly . It is giving a person what he or she deserves , whether it is good or bad . These two words are the same , as each expresses the meaning of the other . Recently , there have been debates on what principles define what justice is to every person . Therefore , it can only be fair if the results of a disagreement result to a fair agreement or a bargain between the parties in question

Thus , we can say that justice has been achieved . Given the position of two people demanding justice , justice can only be defined as the fair agreement that is reached after judging the two sides , while making sure that in the end , each remains satisfied .
