The seeks to highlight and showcase the practice of integrating disabled students into the regular classrooms . In addition , there shall be an elaboration of its benefits and positive outcomes it can contribute to students in the facilitation of education . However , though specific changes have been in place , there continues to be hindrance in the actual facilitation of the mentioned practice . Due to this continued effort must be done to reduce local and external pressures that emanate from the practice of inclusion within classrooms

The constant clamor for changes has been the catalyst

for the promotion of inclusion among students in the classroom . With these , students with disabilities are assured that they are given the optimum level of education and learning that each needs to live a normal life . By incorporating programs that will enhance both the disabled and normal children , educators and teachers are creating an even playing field for both parties concerned

The Reality

It has been mentioned that in the United States there are efforts to link and bridge the gap between normal and disabled students in the realm of education . This is both supported by legislature and research In addition to the research on inclusive education , federal law supports the education of students with disabilities , whenever possible with their peers without disabilities in general education classrooms (Sax and Grove , 2000 ,

Though such laws and attempts may seem to be in place , hindrances are still in place in the overall practice of exclusion among disabled students within the classroom . There are indeed several hindrances as to why inclusion becomes difficult for both educators and the educational sectors . Probably one difficult part in creating changes in the current status quo is the lack of awareness of the need to link the barriers brought about by the claim to separate education to normal and disabled children .
