THE IMPORTANCE OF CREATIVITY

People are social beings . What is usually meant by the statement has both positive and negative outcome . On the one hand , a person 's social nature is a necessary condition of his or her survival , on the other hand , a deep-rooted habit of following certain patterns of behaviour and thinking is an obstacle to the individual 's further development Stereotypes come into play on all levels of human existence that involve social interaction as well as problem-solving both at a personal and at business level . Besides the two views exists a popular concept of creativity as potential aptitude , which is clearly illustrated by the definition from Britannica : The ability to make or otherwise bring into existence something new , whether a new solution to a problem , a new method or device , or a new artistic object or form

Overall , there is a growing consensus to assess creativity as outcome concentrating on its practical value . The simple formula of David Archibald demonstrates it quite clearly

Creativity Idea Action

However , despite the importance of the outcome aspect , it is impossible to understand the nature of creativity without focusing on it as a consecutive process comprising certain stages

How Does Creativity Work "The deepest experience of the creator is feminine , for it is experience of receiving and bearing
