When a light hit a certain object , it works directly with the atom of that object , and the result will now depend on the intensity of the light that strike and the atomic configuration of that object . For some objects that are translucent , the electrons fluctuate or even shiver while the light is still there . These fluctuations temporarily get the power away form the light and afterwards will back from its normal situation before the light strikes it . And the outcome is to delay the wave from the light with no power left .
