have already read the book have a certain expectation that has to be met . Given these factors , the book is often considered by many (writer included ) to be better than the movie
There are essentially three (3 ) main reasons why the book is often to than the movie and these three (3 ) reasons will be discussed in the context of comparing the novel and the 1977 animated adaptation of the book
The first reason lies in the fact that by reading the book first a certain bias or expectation is created and the movie oftentimes has to live up to such expectation . A certain standard for how the movie should feel and develop the story line is created and it oftentimes is unable to satisfy the different standards of different people .
