Islamic World

Middle East is the region situated in the Southwestern of Asia and the Northeastern Africa and its civilizations are considered as the firsts in the whole world . The region supplies the 65 percent oil reserve in the whole world . There are around 90 percent of people are Muslims

Water in this area copmes from Bile River , Tigris , Euphrates and the Jordan river but this is only a small amount of water for a very big land

The modernization started during the advancement of Middle East 's petroleum industry in the 20th century . Together with this modernization is the increase of gender equality and women were allowed to go to school

After several political revolutions in the 1950s which also hindered the attempt of being a modernized region , the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics imposed a state control in Egypt , Iraq and two more countries which is part of the Middle East region . Furthermore , the governing authorities in the countries formulated economic policies which should be followed to control major industries

Landholdings were distributed and several other things were introduced The USSR was the sole supplier of weapons but during their fall in 1991 the pro-western countries from Middle East was supported by the West and were given military supplies

Although there was really a huge development and there was indeed a main export commodity in this region , it remains undeveloped and perhaps , the reason would definitely be because they were not united as one and the war hindered the people from appreciating ones belief thus resulting to plans that did not succeed
