The White Man 's Burden The American Revolution is one of the milestones in the history of the American people . The reformation that took place after their independence from the British Empire enabled them to create new ideas and form of govern Nance that they will apply in these newly independent states . Concepts of liberty and equality are said to be among the things that they achieved in doing such . However , during the time of Post-Revolutionary America these ideals are being questioned . The idea of liberty and equality is not really achieved

in its true sense . There is still an existing disparity among the white and African-American populations of these states . It seems that independence is not really achieved but rather what took place is a new form of slavery in the Post-Revolutionary America

The first people to acquire such driving force for liberty are the Negroes themselves . The American 's definition of freedom is very biased . They want liberty to flourish but not completely in a sense that they speak of freedom but they do not want to liberate their slaves . It is acceptable that slaves dream of freedom but the whites would make sure that this will not come true . This is the reason why the Americans see the African rebellion as a mounting danger that will destroy the new nation that they build and eventually the very ideals of the American Revolution (Jordan , 1974
In the early time of the Post-American Revolution , the whites started to place the Negroes at the sideline of the American community . The disparity between the whites and the Negroes where slowly being reinforced by the changes in the economics of southern agriculture national and sectorial feeling , antislavery , and fear of slave revolt...
