The organization would be ensuring that their dignity and respect would be up-holded , along with exercising compassion . The organization would basically be providing quality and timely healthcare facilities along with recognition of their services to the nation . Providing healthcare facilities to the Dallas veterans is not a favor , but an obligation . The organization has been providing healthcare facilities to the veteran population right from 50 years . It provides both inpatient and outpatient healthcare facilities to the Dallas veterans , and also concentrates on their individual healthcare needs and problems such as spine care , mental care , etc . The DVMC is basically a teaching hospital that ensures education and research is being conducted so as to improve the healthcare quality . It would be providing primary , secondary and tertiary healthcare in various fields including trauma , geriatrics , psychiatry , rehabilitation medicine surgery , medicine , gynecology , wellness management , etc . The organization has also helped the homeless veterans in the Dallas region to get back to normal as quickly as possible .
