. A dissection of the regulations and legislation of ethical practices must be conducted in to discern how the ethical and legal obligations overlap between the industries . A discussion must also be presented for the purpose of disseminating the extent to which the administration of ethical rules takes place within in the sectors in question
A meticulous must also be conducted so that a thorough illumination of the nuances might be disclosed law and an insight given into the strong ethical question that addresses the healthcare industry . Equally , the issues concerning consent and privacy rules should be given an in-depth examination . In addition to this , an explanation must be provided as to the ways in which information can be protected from physical and electronic abuse . This seeks to do this and more . It delves into the areas of weakness and threat faced in technological security . The ethics of the healthcare and the non healthcare sectors were also examined through this lens of technological security , and analysis done of the methods used by each sector to secure information
Finally , the implications of this research will outline a series of suggestions for improving ethical practices . As a complex yet strategic entity , the healthcare industry has made it an imperative requirement to take itself to the forefront in setting high standard in securing business information . Because the healthcare industry is of some extreme importance , it requires extreme care , effort and knowledge in the management of its operations when compared with ethical management in other non healthcare industries . On the contrary evidence exists that adherence to ethics in securing business information in other private sectors is largely backwards and poor (AMA 1994 Budd , 2005 Ethics ' 1999 Marshall et al , 2000 . Such issues as privacy , consent , information data security , and confidentiality have not been held as probative requirements within other private sectors therefore separating both sectors from one another . In almost every field within the healthcare industry , ethical demands have encouraged the establishment of a series of labor laws to provide guidance such areas as management , the use of finances , training and other areas of practice that form the core components of the best possible practice ( Ethics ' 1999 Helsel , 2004 .
