Search for the Origin of Humans

The modern human form is achieved through changes provided by millions of years of evolution . In fact , the first members of the hominidae family were established to have existed around six to seven million years ago the first humans were generally determined to be centralized in the African continent (Cela-Conde Ayala , 2007 . From the

first human to the transitional stages in human evolution , and up to the current form otherwise known as the modern human , difference as well as similarities can be identified . Currently , the similarities between humans of different evolutionary stages are assessed through the analysis of tools , fossils , geography , and DNA samples if available

Tools are one of the most important milestones of human evolution although they were not present until the later parts of human evolution (Foley Lewin , 2003 . In fact , it is the capability to utilize specialized tools for various purposes that differentiates humans from other organisms in the planet . In this sense , one may argue that animals especially chimpanzees are also able to utilize tools from their surroundings for various purposes such as the acquisition of food (De Waal , 2002 . However , one must also keep in mind that tools utilized by modern humans and other members of the hominidae family are not all easily acquired as the tools are commonly specialized . As an...
