The modern human form is achieved through changes provided by millions of years of evolution . Tools are one of the most important milestones of human evolution although they were not present until the later parts of human evolution (Foley Lewin , 2003 . In fact , it is the capability to utilize specialized tools for various purposes that differentiates humans from other organisms in the planet . In this sense , one may argue that animals especially chimpanzees are also able to utilize tools from their surroundings for various purposes such as the acquisition of food (De Waal , 2002 .
