Abstract

Perhaps one of the greatest female iconic figures in the last century is Eva Peron . She is a strong willed woman who brought much change into Argentina . Born in a poor family , her father leaves her family for another family . This aggravates the situation further as they are not only poor but as outcasts as well , being from a single parent family This however does not stop Eva Peron from pursuing her dream career at Buenos Aires , Argentina

. The pursuit of her life long career leads her into further poverty and tribulations . However , sooner than later , hope starts streaming in . She lands a big job as a Radio presenter at Radio Argentina . This is her big breakthrough . Later we see her getting various positions at various radio stations and one of her radio programs , becoming famous in Argentina (Barnes , 1996

Her life changing moment however comes when she meets Juan Domingo Peron , an army colonel who later not only becomes her husband , but the president of Argentina as well (Fraser Navarro , 2008 . It is during her time with him as president that she gains much of the prominence she has till today . Her assistance to the needy and the championing of women rights wins her much adoration from Argentina 's people . At some point they even want her to be the vice president . She dies at 33 , having accomplished more than many of us accomplish in a lifetime
