Analysis of Cathedral

Cathedral ' by Raymond Carver , is a short story about an intimate relationship between two distant people , which brings hopes in despair The short tale demonstrates how an unforeseen event can change the way we look at life . Through the story , Carver describes how people living so close , can be distant and how two people , staying miles apart , can still be close at heart .
