Nowadays , children have access to a variety of drugs . These drugs come in the form of inhalants , steroids , stimulants and injectables . Of all these drugs , inhalants are the most accessible . Inhalants can come in the form of regular household chemicals used on a daily basis like rugby

or concentrated glue , spray paint , de-waxer , fingernail polish , whipped cream dispensers and gas cylinders

Meanwhile steroids can come in the form of vitamin supplements and growth enhancements drugs and are also accessible to children even without prescription . Stimulants and injectables are distributed thru parties , peers and street dealers

There are a variety of causes as to why children abuse drugs or why they even start . Most teens try it the first time because they can 't resist peer pressure and wanting to belong . Children from problematic families and environment or at-risk ' kids are usually the ones who easily succumb to peer pressure easily . The perception that drugs provide a relief from their day to day problems adds to this susceptibility . Still , other kids try it because of curiosity
