According to the Alliance for Excellent Education fact sheet , more than a million US students entering the ninth grade do fail to finally graduate after four years . Approximately seven thousand high school students drop out in each school day . Dropouts diminish the chances of the young people to get a good job as well as a promising future . They not only go through psychological trauma but face a substantial loss of

finances and the social costs as far as state , community and the country is concerned . Research from the fact sheet ' shows that roughly 1 .2 million students end up not graduating from high school and most of them come from the minority groups . Around 71 of high school students graduate on time with a diploma , but half of the Hispanic and African Americans earn a diploma with their fellow peers . Domestic violence at home has played a vast role in increasing the rate of high school dropouts . This study aims to discomfort , give an in depth analysis of the pervasiveness as well as the domestic violence typicality . People should not continue to ask questions as if domestic violence is idiosyncratic and anomalous and only an issue that happens to few people . Domestic violence is broad and its roots are represented in our classrooms . Responsibility to respond to this is highly imperative
