Descriptive Essay : My Math Teacher

Since my early childhood years I was honored to meet a great number of interesting and talented people who had considerable influence on my understanding of this world and contributed greatly to the development of my personality . One of the most memorable and influential individuals was Mrs . Juliana Forrester , a math teacher from my junior high school She was one of the Teachers students can never forget

When I saw her for the first time she

was in her early forties , with long black hair and a very calm serious look . She entered our classroom watched us with true concern and attention and started speaking sedately and thoughtfully . Her positive aura spread immediately around the whole classroom . From the way she presented herself , spoke and moved , one could get an impression that she was not an ordinary person

It is known that teachers usually have favorite students , who they believe are more talented , hardworking or somehow better than the others . But she never expressed any prejudice and was giving necessary measure of attention to everyone

Mrs . Forrester always used very effective teaching methods . She was offering us trial tests , giving a chance to improve our grades . Once she asked me to solve a problem at the board , but I got confused and failed Surprisingly , she did not give a bad grade but asked me to solve the problem at home and present its solution to the class next time . I guess no other teacher in our school would waste such a chance to put me down in front of my friends

Also , she knew how to make math exercises not boring and used to arrange little competitions in the classroom . She always encouraged working in teams and helping each other when solving the problems . Another important thing was her clarity . In the beginning of every lesson she was clearly...
