I got married soon after I graduated in high school in the year 1999 . I had to move from California to Washington and start a

new life with my husband . Settling was not easy as a lot of adjustments had to be made but eventually , everything went out just fine . With the birth of my children , I had to postpone continuing with my education as I see the importance of raising my children responsibly . I had always been very enthusiastic about going back to school again because it has always been my dream to serve people by being a nurse

Currently , I work as a volunteer at the St . Francis hospital to have myself accustomed to the hospital environment . Aside from the fact that I enjoy my work as a volunteer in the said hospital , I also get the chance to observe the practical side of nursing . This gives me a background on the nursing profession . However , I know that I still have to formally enter school for this is where the foundation for the nursing profession is built

Now , I have the chance to continue reaching towards my dream for myself and for my family . To achieve this , it is my deepest desire to get accepted in your university , the Seattle Pacific University . When I was still a child , my family has played an important role in shaping me to who I am today . They have equipped me with the support I needed from the time of my conception to the day I had to move with my husband .
