My living room is perhaps the most inviting room in my house Coming home and relaxing in my living room is truly a bit of heaven on earth

My Living room , my haven , is my choice of places to recharge from the everyday grind

The comfort , sense of family , and peace I find in looking around my living room amazes me some days

First Draft

Looking around the room I am overwhelmed by the sense of family , the sense of warmth , the unadulterated sense of love that flows from the room . Sitting on the couch , I look to the left and see the black end table . I remember that we won the lighted waterfall that has it 's home there at Christmas during a game of white elephant . Moving my eyes up just a bit I see , on the very same wall this couch sits on , my front door , with the leopard print entry mat . Listening the to inviting sounds of my waterfall , I move my eyes over to the wall on my left , well partial wall . I see the closet that holds all of our winter coats and the more mundane vacuum cleaner . After the closet the wall open up into a bar that divides the kitchen and the living room . Placed along the top of the bar is a few of our family pictures and in between each of those sit our candles filling the room with the beautiful light scent of strawberry rhubarb . As I continue my sweep , I come to the wall directly across from and my heart warms as I see the corner leading into the hall way . There are marks along the wall there in varying heights with dates written out beside each one . A growth chart if you will , and again a sense of love and family pours through me . I come then to the shadow boxes hanging in a diagonal line flowing the right . Each contains...
